The Biggest Fish Fry Parade Draws Thousands

The 71st annual World’s Biggest Fish Fry Grand Parade took place today in Paris, Tennessee. Members of the community view the parade as more than just a procession – it’s a celebration of the community and an event with a rich history. Many people travel to Paris to witness the parade, drawn by the town’s reputation as the home of the World’s Biggest Fish Fry.

Participants in the parade, including floats, bands, civic groups, churches, and local businesses, made their way through the streets as thousands of spectators watched. Attendees shared their favorite parts of the parade, highlighting the opportunity to enjoy fried fish at the Fish Tent, march in the parade, and showcase their organizations.

One of the highlights of the parade was the presence of the Clydesdale horses, which delighted the crowd as they paraded through the streets. The festival surrounding the World’s Biggest Fish Fry is a week-long celebration that includes events like rodeos, a carnival, and of course, plenty of fried catfish.

The celebration will continue until Saturday, April 27, with fish being served from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Visitors to the event are encouraged to stop by and enjoy the festivities, including the parade and the delicious fried fish that the town is famous for.
