In a new campaign, AT&T Business is utilizing the talent of actors from the popular television series “The Office” to promote their services. The campaign centers around a business idea conceived by Rainn Wilson, who played Dwight in the show, to create custom sleep pillows that feature the sound of his voice as a soothing accompaniment to sleep.
The campaign features Wilson and other “The Office” alumni – Jenna Fischer (Pam), Craig Robinson (Darryl), Creed Bratton (Creed), Kate Flannery (Merideth), and Brian Baumgartner (Kevin) – working together on the product launch. The team faces challenges such as keeping track of inventory, creating social media content, and gaining access to the computer room in order to officially launch the website. Despite their general incompetence, AT&T Business’s solutions remain consistent in helping the business get off the ground.
The campaign was teased during the Masters golf tournament and officially launched on April 17th. Despite being off air for more than a decade, “The Office” remains relevant due to its popularity on streaming services. The actors from the show have appeared in various advertising campaigns over the years, drawing on their characters’ personas in some cases and not in others. Some of the brands they have promoted include Cheerios, Bush’s Beans, and Apple’s Filemaker.
