Viafin Service, a maintenance company, released its first quarter interim report on Monday morning. The report showed that the company’s turnover decreased to EUR 15.0 million in the first quarter of 2024 compared to 16.4 million euros in the same period a year earlier. Despite this decrease, Viafin’s operating result improved to 0.2 million euros from 0.1 million euros in the previous year, which aligned with Inderes’ forecast of a 0.2 million euro operating result for January-March.

In addition to this, Viafin had an EBITDA for January-March of 0.6 million euros, up from 0.4 million euros in the prior year, which exceeded Inderes’ forecast of EBITDA of 0.5 million euros for the period under review.

Looking back at the past year, Viafin had a turnover of 75.4 million euros in 2023 with an operating profit percentage of 5.5 percent and is now maintaining its financial guidance for the current fiscal year of expecting an increase in turnover and improvement in relative operating results.

During this reporting period, Viafin made several strategic purchases including OT Service Oy acquisition among others which was highlighted by CEO Heikki Pesu as an extension that supports ongoing growth while prioritizing shareholder value. According to Pesu, approximately 85 percent of the turnover will come from maintenance business with remaining 15 percent from project business as their focus remains on continued growth and success for future financial years
