Grace Properties LLC, owned by David and Amanda Trahan, has recently purchased 6.2 acres of land near Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville for over $2.8 million. The land will be divided into five lots, with Paradise Grill & Daiquiris, their business, located on the southern end of the property. The remaining lots will be sold to other businesses. Construction is expected to begin in the fall.

The Trahans had previously purchased 1.6 acres of land along Milton Road near Metairie Center shopping center in 2022 for $555,000. However, they later sold it to a Baton Rouge-based development group for $800,000 the following year due to an attractive offer that led them to change their minds about selling initially.

David Trahan stated that the new location in Youngsville is a better fit for their business than the previous one. Their ultimate goal is to expand into the Lafayette area with five or six locations as well as expanding into Baton Rouge. Paradise Grill & Daiquiris currently has locations in Lake Charles, Moss Bluff, and Sulphur, with another Lake Charles location set to open on May 1st.
