The entries for the 2023 Defender Kentucky CCI5*-L have been announced, and it’s shaping up to be a star-studded event. The top four riders in the FEI World Rankings, including Oliver Townend, Ros Canter, Boyd Martin, and Tom McEwen, are all set to compete. In total, 47 horse-and-rider combinations will be vying for the coveted title at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington from April 24-28.
Several pairs are also entered in the Badminton CCI5*-L, which will take place from May 8-12 in England. Among them are Oliver Townend with Cooley Rosalent, Grace Taylor with Game Changer, Meghan O’Donoghue with Palm Crescent, Boyd Martin with Tsetserleg TSF and On Cue, Kirsty Chabert with Classic VI, Ros Canter with Izilot DHI, and Jessica Phoenix with Wabbit.
