Fourth Night of Protests Against Israel in Amman: Demand for Stronger Support from Jordanian Government

The fourth night in a row, protests against Israel have taken place in the Jordanian capital, just outside of the Israeli Embassy. Despite their efforts, protesters were met with resistance from police and gendarmerie, resulting in several arrests. While the number of participants has decreased compared to earlier days, most of those present were teenagers and students.

The protesters are demanding that the Jordanian government take action against what they see as Israeli aggression towards the Palestinian people. They are calling for all agreements with Israel to be annulled, including the peace treaty (Wadi Arba agreement) and the gas agreement. Additionally, they are calling for a halt on goods transport from Persian Gulf countries through Jordan and a ban on vegetable exports.

These protests demonstrate the continued frustration and anger towards Israel among young people who feel they are taking an unjust stand against Israeli actions. The demands made by protesters highlight their desire for stronger support from the Jordanian government for the Palestinian cause and opposition to Israeli policies.
