The science department at Berlin High School recently recognized students who achieved top scores on a standardized science test. One student, Justin LoPresto, even scored a perfect on the exam. The test administered was the Next Generation Science Standards assessment, a statewide standardized test for students in grades 5, 8, and 11. The students who were honored were current seniors who took the test in 2023 when they were juniors.
Last month, BHS hosted a special awards ceremony to celebrate these exceptional performers. The school commended these students for their hard work, dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. It is a testament to their skills and efforts that they were able to achieve such high scores on the exam.
The science department at BHS has been working tirelessly to help these students succeed academically. Teachers have provided additional support and resources to help them prepare for the test, including extra tutoring sessions and practice exams. The school is proud of their accomplishments and is excited to see what the future holds for these bright students.
