PeaceHealth, a renowned healthcare organization based in Vancouver, has recently made several key appointments to its Board of Directors. Carol Aaron has been named the new chair, succeeding Karl Carrier who stepped down after serving over eight years on the board. Aaron, who joined the board in January 2021, brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry to her new role. She previously held executive positions at PeaceHealth, St. Joseph Health System, and Sutter Health before retiring in 2019.
In addition to Aaron’s appointment, Dr. Ione Adams and Lorraine Arvin have also been elected to serve on the board. Adams, who has been chairing the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Community Health Board in Bellingham since 2020, recently retired from practicing family medicine after a distinguished career that spanned over four decades. Arvin, a seasoned financial expert with extensive experience in financial strategies and long-term planning, joins the board with her wealth of knowledge and skills. She most recently served as the vice president and treasurer at Reed College before retiring in 2021.
These new appointments bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the PeaceHealth Board of Directors, further strengthening the organization’s leadership team as they continue their mission of providing quality healthcare services to the community. With their diverse backgrounds and skill sets, these individuals are well-equipped to guide PeaceHealth through its future endeavors and help it achieve its goals for delivering exceptional care to patients across its many facilities throughout Washington state.
