Trine University is launching a new Bachelor of Science in environmental science degree program, drawing on its strengths in the sciences and engineering. The Bachelor of Science in environmental science will be offered through Trine’s Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences. Lexie Staten, Dean of the Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences, emphasizes that the program focuses on examining and improving the health of the planet and its inhabitants.

Graduates from this program are poised for success in a variety of industries, including governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, or private companies as environmental or conservation scientists, environmental educators, lawyers, environmental policy analysts, or environmental health and safety specialists. With job growth predicted above average in this field over the next decade by the Bureau of Labor Services, Trine graduates can look forward to employment opportunities upon completion of their studies.
